We did not do very well on the Clouds Trial and struggled for grip all day finishing way down the order. At least the weather was kind and we completed the trip to and from the Cotswolds without incident, another 400 miles altogether. The journey home along the M4 in driving sleet was memorable because my finger tips still tingle in the cold.
I have prepared the car for the March Hare on March 7th and just needed to weld a damper link bracket on the rear axle apart from the minor front wing damage suffered when we met a tree on Nailsworth Ladder. I have a Machine Mart sheet metal hammer set which is invaluable for tapping the wings straight after a ding.
