Driving Day, Sunday April 26th
For the first time I was able to drive the Dellow today, Driving Day. It was a glorious champagne day with clear skies so I was able to drive up to Limpsfield Chart and back via byway from the bottom of Crockham Hill. It was probably no more than 30 miles or so but I really enjoyed the trip in MTT and on the way I spied some Kougars and proper Jaguars on a run as well as a Triumph Herald, and Spitfire and MGBGT, all of whom waved at me. Later at Penshurst I saw a red pre war car which I think is an Amilcar but if anyone knows better, please respond and a Fiat 1800 Estate which I seem to remember was in a magazine article some time ago.
